Hm.... I really wasn't kidding when I said my obsessions change fast. My newest one is a Taiwanese boy-group called "棒棒堂" (Bang Bang Tang) otherwise known as Lollipop. Yes, I know I've mentioned them before, in the post about Wang Zi, but NOW it's official: I'm obsessed. And once again, I've got picture collections, all their CDs and EPs and watched about every single drama that they've starred in. Don't get me wrong. I still think Wang Zi is the best one (he's the most popular <33), but now that I think about it, second place is a close tie between Xiao Yu and Ao Quan. Both are pretty awesome. If we're talking about break dancing though, the first place has to go to Ah Wei. Man, that boy can DANCE.
In the music video for "七彩棒棒糖" (Qi Cai Bang Bang Tang), all of them got to show off their dancing skills and Ah Wei just OWNED the floor. I think the second best would be Ao Quan, but I haven't seen him dance in any other video. Maybe I'll change my mind once I see more, but he can dance, that's for sure.
I just found out recently that Xiao Yu was the lead vocalist. I didn't know that, but it would explain why he has the most parts in all of the songs, but Wang Zi and Xiao Jie seem the be best song writers. They collaborated on "夏日初體驗" (Xia Ri Chu Ti Yan). Apparently, they had to rewrite it 10-11 times before it was accepted. It's a really good song though, and the MV is quite nice. It makes you feel really happy and giddy when you watch it because they're actually at the beach playing around in the sand.
Oh, and that icon collection I was talking about? Yeah, it's coming along pretty well. I've nearly finished the one for the Burimyu cast, but now I'm working on a BBT one. XD I counted, and so far, Nagayan has the most in the Burimyu set, and Wang Zi has the most in the BBT set. >.< So expect that very soon. Since the weekend is coming, and I don't have that much to do, I'll probably be at home, Photoshopping the heck out of myself.
Another drama that I am currently hooked on (also the one that Wang Zi starred in >w<): 黑糖群俠傳 (Hei Tang Qun Xia Zhuan) 'The Legend of Brown Sugar Chivalries'. I don't know what it is with BBT + Hey Girls and "Brown Sugar", but it's in almost every single drama they collaborate on. This one doesn't even have anything to do with "Brown Sugar". o.O
Personally, I think that Wang Zi and Xiao Xun look better than any other ships. Gui Gui and Wang Zi actually look pretty good, but Gui Gui weirds me out... sometimes. And Wang Zi and Ya Tou is just a HUGE no-no. Ugh... thank GOD that wasn't the 'official' pairing of the drama. I probably would have stopped watching if it was. Xiao Yu and Xiao Xun don't look bad either. Poor Xiao Yu. He looks so sad half the time in 黑糖群俠傳. >.< And he's good at acting like he's upset, so it's even more convincing. Grrr....
My mom kind of watched 黑糖群俠傳 with me, and she was laughing because she said that everytime she heard Ya Tou's voice, she wanted to bang her head against the wall. I don't know what it is with that girl, but her voice is ANNOYING as HELL. I thought it was fake in 黑糖瑪奇朵 (Hei Tang Ma Qi Duo) 'Brown Sugar Macchaito' just for filming and comedy purposes, but apparently not. I was watching the Behind the Scenes and extras and stuff when she was giving and interview. Her voice is ACTUALLY LIKE THAT. How do her co-workers deal with her voice? Well, I guess you get used to it after a while. I learned to just ignore the annoying high-pitched-ness of it and just focus on what she's saying, but I still think it's really irritating when she talks.
Whoa... class is about to end. XP I guess my obsessive-ranting ends here. XD
